Create a New Logo for Favorite Brand

This is the actual Dunkin' Donuts logo....
This is my logo for Dunkin' Donuts.  I chose to dunk a donut into a basketball hoop.
When I saw Dunkin' Donuts' real logo, I was not impressed.  So, with some help from my friend Rachel,  I decided to "slam dunk" a donut through a basketball hoop.  I don't know if I was supposed to include the brand name or not but better safe than sorry... right?  (Ms. forrest please don't take away points for that)
But I really enjoyed this assignment and had lots of fun creating a new logo.

this is the final product.  Once I placed the photo into the right position, I adjusted the hue/saturation.  I think I did a pretty good job of finding the right color. Although now it looks too green.  BUt I am very pleased with the final result. This is the original image...
