Digital Post-Impressionist Landscape

This is the original landscape...
This is my landscape.  I personally didn't like this assignment because I has trouble not blending the picture and making it look realistic.  I think I blended the colors too much, making the mountain looking like a random, gray blob in the middle of my "masterpiece."

This is Leonardo DaVinci's original masterpiece, the Mona Lisa... This is my masterpiece.  I wanted to center my art on one color... PINK!  My original thought was to make her the queen of a pink, candy land.  But as I was looking for the perfect background, I found this very pink, incredibly beautiful, sakura flowers. So now I think she is the princess (or queen) of all sakura flowers.

this is the final product.  Once I placed the photo into the right position, I adjusted the hue/saturation.  I think I did a pretty good job of finding the right color. Although now it looks too green.  BUt I am very pleased with the final result. This is the original image...
