Colorize a Black/White Image

This is the original image...
This is my colorized version of the image...
I had a hard time trying to make the colors vibrant but not cartoon like.     I also had trouble with trying to blend the colors of the plant,  I wanted to make the color noticeable but not be the center of attention.  I also had trouble with finding the right color to color the image.

this is the final product.  Once I placed the photo into the right position, I adjusted the hue/saturation.  I think I did a pretty good job of finding the right color. Although now it looks too green.  BUt I am very pleased with the final result. This is the original image...
